Clee Hill Community Academy

I am keen to play a part in shaping the future of Clee Hill Academy and the local community that I am part of. I believe in community spirit and helping the young people of today achieve their potential, treating them as individuals and facilitating the right nurturing environment. Clee Hill Academy has impressed me from the first day I looked around to enrol my eldest son. There is a clear family-oriented feel and a positive learning ethos that encourages children to grow, learn and develop into young adults. My work life includes leading a large-scale logistics operation for Lidl, which is spread across multiple sites in the UK. I have over a decade of experience in managing teams of over 200 colleagues from diverse back grounds, from onboarding, learning and development to managing disciplinary processes and strategy creation. I enjoy developing future leaders within the business, challenging the status quo and maximising process efficiencies through my team. I have recently taken over coaching the Tenbury Tigers under 6 football team and this has brought me great satisfaction. I have learnt to plan the training sessions to ensure the children begin to learn the technical skills and the social aspects that I know will stand them in good stead in the future.
