U is for Unique Experiences
World Book Day
WBD is always a fun way to celebrate reading. The day normally includes a catwalk, DEAR time and plenty of fun activities to promote the love of reading. This year we had a magician which linked in with the book 'Leon and the Place Between' and children dressed as their favourite word.
Reading Competitions
Book in a jar, guess the reader (staff pictures), book mark competitions, decorate a paper plate etc- there is always lots of fun reading experiences at Clee Hill Community Academy.
