World Book Day
WBD is always a fun way to celebrate reading. More recently, Clee Hill Community Academy has used it as an opportunity to develop vocabulary across the school with a ‘dress as a word’ day. The day normally includes a catwalk, DEAR time and plenty of fun activities to promote the love of reading.
Reading Competitions
Book in a jar, guess the reader (staff pictures), book mark competitions etc- there is always lots of fun reading experiences at Clee Hill Community Academy.
