Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium & Recovery funding
What is Pupil Premium?
Pupil Premium is designed to ensure that funding to tackle disadvantaged, reaches those pupils who need it most. The funding is allocated to schools with pupils from Reception to Yr 11 who are currently entitled to free school meals (FSM) or have been eligible at any point in the last six years. Further funding is available for Looked After Children or those that have parents in the Armed Forces.
What is the recovery funding premium?
The recovery premium provides additional funding for schools to build on the pupil premium funding. The funding should be used to deliver evidence-based approaches for supporting disadvantaged pupils.
A breakdown of how this money has been allocated and an evaluation of its effectiveness can be found in the Pupil premium statement below
