Throughout October, we celebrate with a special additional activity at lunchtime – bonkers for conkers
The children are taught how to play conkers and then compete to be a Conker Champion. This is every lunchtime 12:30 – 1:00 – there is no age limit – class 1 upwards. The children can bring their own conkers into school (no cheating with vinegar or baking please adults!!) but we also provide lots of conkers to play with in school too. A big thank you to Michael Hubbard who has been busy picking conkers this week and drilling holes in them ready for the start of bonkers for conkers season.
