The SEND journey at Clee Hill Community Academy
At Clee Hill Community Academy we believe that we may all be different fish, but we all swim in the same sea. Within the school ‘ocean’ we have waves of support for pupils to support everyone in accessing our curriculum.
Wave 1 – Universal – children not requiring additional support.
Wave 2 – School action – children requiring targeted support from school.
Wave 3 – School Action Plus - children requiring specialised support from outside agencies.
Wave 4 – High specialised support
Children move from one wave to another depending on the amount of support they may need.
